Weight loss is the answer.
  1. Don't cut out all the food you love. It's a useful tip for weight loss to count and cut calories, but I found it is better to cut a lot of calories and save up some calories to eat something that you really love once in a while. Maybe I can have a nice saucy hamburger once a week if I saved enough calories.  This way it keeps you motivated and gives you something to work for.  

  2. Write down everything you eat.  Make sure you write down everything you eat even if it is a splurge day.  You need to record everything you eat and how many calories you eat.  Paper doesn't lie and it will put a good perspective on your weight loss plan and how you are progressing.
  3. Stick pictures on your fridge. This weight loss tip doesn't mean you have to put up "fat" pictures of yourself, rather put up something that will motivate you like pictures of a dream island vacation or maybe your idol.  Keep you positively motivated not negatively.
  4. Use scales in the kitchen. Use a scale to measure your portions, it's easy to decieve yourself.
  5. Buy new clothes after you lost a few dress sizes.  Through out all the old bigger clothes so that you don't go back to your old fatter self. You can even treat yourself to a pair of jeans that is slightly too small to that you can work to get into those jeans and stay in them.
  6. Be honest with yourself. Don't worry to much if you exceeded your calorie intake.  As long as you keep record of it. Remeber it's the average calorie intake that counts for fat loss.
  7. Do some regular exercise. It should come as no surprise that it is better to do some regular exercise for sustained weight loss. This is definately one of the top weight loss tips.  Even if you just go for a walk for 30 mins a day, it is already a start or really speed up your weight loss by running on the treddmill or going for a jog. 
  8. Don't drink too much alcohol. Measure your alcohol intake carefully and don't go overboard.   If you like the occational drink, dont deprive yourself of it, just make sure that you stick with low calorie options.
  9. Make water your drink of choice. Cut out as much sugary drinks as you can, even juice.  They contain sugars and a lot of calories.  Stick to water as your drink of choice.
  10. Never ever give up. Don't get disheartened by a "cheat day".  Just get back on the bike the next day and limit the damage.  Never give up on your weight loss program.
